Join us in Frankfort.

KLTC member organizations will meet on Tuesday, April 29 at the Paul Sawyier Public Library in Frankfort to discuss best management practices, help determine how nonprofit land conservation in Kentucky can move forward as well as other efforts that could affect conservation in Kentucky including Kentucky Ohio River Regional Recreational Authority,  the Ohio River Basin restoration plan and the changes at the federal level..

This year we will focus on KLTC’s advocacy of The Nature Conservancy’s comprehensive report “The Need for an Essential Investment in Kentucky Lands and Waters”, which details how the Commonwealth lags behind our neighboring states in public land conservation funding.

More details to come.
